![]() Much like the TCC-1100 at the last ConExpo, remote controlled, high-intensity boom floodlights are available on the ATC-3210 and the entire range of Link-Belt telescopic cranes. These can also be found in areas for fuel fills, ground control stations for outriggers and suspension, and other various locations throughout the crane. The lights found on the front of the operator’s cab and at the outriggers have been replaced with high intensity LED lights. Engine and storage compartments will be illuminated with internal LED lighting. A manual, four-position offset is available as well.Ī new lighting package will be unveiled with the ATC-3210. An optional three-piece bi-fold fly hydraulically offsets from 2° to 45°. ![]() heavy-lift fly has two-line, one-load lift procedures, making it ideal for tilt-up work. The ATC-321- also uses the ATC-3275’s concept of upper engine mounted transversely to allow maximum space for the stowable fly. Seven boom modes maximize capacities by varying the extension of the sections. Teflon inserts keep the boom lubed and are universal for all boom sections. The two-plate design of each section has multiple longitudinal bends for superior strength. On the job, the ATC-3210 delivers a six-section boom fabricated from ultra-high-strength steel in Link-Belt’s facility. For operator comfort, Link-Belt’s Hydrogas suspension system is incorporated in the design. Putting this control on the ground are military-grade, two-piece aluminum wheels that require no special tools to service in the field. Also available are inter-axle and cross-axle differential locking. The traction control has a mud and snow setting to allow more slip when needed. Emergency steering, cruise control, and traction control are standard, as are extra steering cylinders for maneuvering in difficult terrain. To slow this crane, it’s equipped with anti-lock (ABS) disc brakes, transmission intarder, and true engine compression brakes that meet the stringent SAE braking codes. None of the axles exceed 20,000 lbs., and none of the three truck loads exceed 45,000 lbs.Ī Cummins EPA 2013 compliant engine provides power for highway travel. At just under 145,000 lbs, the ATC-3210 can transport in a three-axle dolly configuration with a three-piece hydraulic fly, auxiliary lifting sheave, hook block and ball, and main and auxiliary winches. The ATC-3210 with maximum counterweight, rigging, matting, and fly extensions can move in just three truckloads. and can be grouped together with other components to maximize loads. Transport is critical to any market, and to help with North American road laws, the counterweights all weigh less than 22,000 lbs. Link-Belt ATC-3210 with LED light package Designed with extensive customer input, the ATC-3210 will meet the toughest transport laws in North America while also meeting Tier IV final and EPA 2013 on-highway requirements. The company introduced its first all-terrain crane at ConExpo 2011 and has relied on the success of the ATC-3275 to help shape its new 210-ton ATC-3210. Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co, Lexington, Ky., will unveil its second all-terrain crane at ConExpo 2014. And as far as the technology and ease of working on them, Link-Belt is really doing a good job,†said Flach. There are no complaints from us on Link-Belt Cranes. €œLink-Belt is constantly upgrading and trying to make their machines better. ![]() Once the tanks are placed, they are rotated so they sit perfectly upright for pressurized valve connections, and using rigging ropes, the tanks are rotated into place.įlach Crane is pleased with the performance of the machine. It also has the reach that we need for the technology companies that are coming into this area,†said Flach.įlach operator Mike Smith said, “We’ve used this crane for many tank placements already, the heaviest being 102,000 pounds.†€œThe ATC-3210 is lightweight for its capacity, as well as meeting all our requirements that we need for plant maintenance, and the taxi-crane type work we’re involved in. €œThe only comparable machine in this class that we had was a 200-ton crawler, and it’s used for long-term rentals, rather than anything taxi related,†said Flach President John Flach.įlach purchased the crane from Wood’s CRW of Williston, Vt., and is impressed with the ATC-3210’s capabilities. Hiltz Propane of Lancaster, Pa., contracted Flach Crane and its new ATC-3210 to place six tanks in a single day at the Hudson River port.
